It was a great visit! Time flew by. We had lots of fun! I think she enjoyed seeing her cousins the most especially the newest member of the tribe. Always the first thing out of her mouth when she saw her, "can I hold her?"

It's exciting as we anticipate the arrival of the Daughter and family! The Granddaughter is  just getting so unbelievably big. We are ready for good times even if it's a fast turnaround trip for them! Pizza night, egg hunts, cookouts and lots of togetherness is on the agenda.

Dirt work finally got underway! After weeks and weeks (read that months, really!) of waiting for dirt to be delivered we actually have real dirt in our backyard. Sadly, it has A LOT of debris in it...very disappointing. I guess when you get dirt you get trash and rocks along with it. I was super surprised at all the non dirt items. Canvas, broken glass, bricks, wood, metal, logs, cans, lots and lots of BIG rocks. Not what I expected at all. But there is quite a bit of dirt so I guess that is something!

With the forecast calling for rain over the weekend we are trying to get as much of the dirt in place as we can. We will leave a large pile to file the trench that will hold our underground electrical cable. Man, that's a lot of dirt!!

Anticipation...SHE arrives today! Can't wait to see her and her momma and daddy. We have a busy but fun weekend ahead. Let the adventures begin. She was so happy to see her cousin, she is totally taken with this child. Of course Bubby and Bell are still tops in her book, too!

Tired is good, right? Sure it is, especially when it's because you have been with a certain little girl the last few days. We enjoyed being with the daughter and family for a few days and look forward to their trip to us at the end of the month. She was ALL LaLa ALL the time this trip.

THIS, this is her obsession right now...talking with her new cousin. She is pretty taken with the newest addition to the family. She loves to love her, hold her and just see her. She is ready to come visit her again and tells us that every time we video chat with her. Looking forward to these two getting together again!
