UnFOURgettably 4 Friday!

Oh, my, Man vs Bird continues...but we have a new weapon in our corner. Bird spikes. Hoping for less bird activity under the patio cover. If you missed the original posting on this, it is HERE. We like birds, really we do! We just DO NOT want them nesting under the patio cover. We have tried several things from a rubber snake to an owl to shiny hanging things. Nothing seems to work and we were forever cleaning up nest making attempts. It was time to get serious. This is our final hope...well, maybe not but I hate to think of what we will need to try next.

In other news we are staying safe and staying home...within reason. Hope you are doing well. Of course, we are missing those up North.

We might have headed back up into the North again and had a little more time with the Daughter and Bee...

Molly, the doll, who is more commonly known as "Sweetie" is the toy of the week.

Time, of course, passes too quickly, but we are thankful for every moment. Things seem to be coming into a new normal for most of us. What the future is gonna look like is anybody's guess. Travel is odd, finding open restrooms is a challenge and all eating is done in the car. States are starting to relax guidelines but personally we are still taking our time getting out and about among the crowds. 

There may or may not have been a Filet-O-Fish sandwich last night for her dinner...obtained through the drive-thru in case you were wondering! She ate every last bite!

And here we are 88 days later...

FINALLY!

The last time we saw her we had just had her at the Meadow for a week. It's been tough not seeing her with the exception of video calling. She has grown at least 3 inches. WOWSA! She has also grown in her verbal skills, again, with words that "who knew" a four year old even knew let alone use correctly. Okay, then.

I'm sure LaLa will make a Filet o Fish sandwich visit happen before we leave as that is still a big favorite, light tartar sauce, please. It will have to be drive thru but that works for her so it's all good!

It's May! Happy May Day as a little girl I remember hanging flowers on our neighbors doors on May Day. I don't think people in the U.S.A. do that anymore but when we lived in Europe they still did. I almost bought flowers at the grocery store today now I wish I had.

It's been an uneventful week in our area. Pretty much same-o same-o. Wash, rinse, repeat. I'm soooo ready to be able to go North. I'm ready to just be able to get out and about. I realize that is most likely gonna be some time in the future. Just not sure how far into the future. Oh, well, carry on, I suppose, it could be worse! Thankful we are well and those we love are, too.
