Yesterday was hard. Yesterday was honoring, Yesterday was necessary, Yesterday is yesterday.
We are on hiatus from traveling at will. We still enjoy a slower pace of life even though no longer on the road. In our world we continue living the dream...someday there may be jobs. We did get that small house and the RV stands ready and waiting for adventure.

There are no words to put with my thoughts today...
So thankful we all made/took the time for this trip for her 80th birthday. She was a good one. Treated my as her own from 1983 on...those teenage years I wasn't always as appreciative for her parenting as I can now see was in my best interest. She grandmothered my daughter like no other. She loved hard and big. She will be missed. And it feels like a double whammy to have lost both her and my father just 8 weeks apart. I find such comfort in knowing they are together and we will also be together again in eternity. Doesn't lessen our grief that they are now both gone but we did not lose them as we are confident in seeing them again!

This is what's been happening at the Meadow...
We are so looking forward to the cooking process with this new thang! MiRV was SUPER excited about this buy at the surplus store a few weeks ago. The weather is finally nice enough to get it seasoned and start enjoying the bounty. He's gonna channel his inner chef... I've been told there will be Khan's and White Grill come off this griddle. The seasoning process is very important and there are so many tips, tricks and must do's that it's almost overwhelming. Gotta get a good smooth surface on it and then let the griddling begin. He's been to the store and back, YouTubed, Googled and hoping he's nailed it.

The BIG news this week is another lost tooth...yes, I know! And we were on a video call with her when it happened. This is the kind of technology I enjoy. She called to tell us how loose it was and before we hung up it was out. We suggested she eat a fruit rollup after just pulling it out with her fingers wasn't working and in no time it was out!
Losing teeth means growing up...hmmm...
