Our spirits were a little dashed when we saw the fog yet again as we made our way up the mountain. As I have mentioned before we have had early morning rain and fog nearly every day we've been here. So, very sadly the sun was just not getting through this morning. It was also COLD and windy. I was so disappointed. We stayed the course waiting and hoping and saw not much. Thinking it was a wash we started making our way down and just after the first bend below the fog there it was...

And while it was not at the VERY top it was close enough to me. It was absolutely stunning. The hues of color were gorgeous and so not captured in these photos but still they are pretty to look at!
